This looks pretty good. My main observation is that some of the pear's shadow areas are a lot closer to the cast shadow value than you have indicated. The only other thing might be that, while I'm not in the basics course, having seen a number of attempts at this exercise, I wonder if the idea was to go a little simpler with the shapes.
