Recommended Courses for Learning

Hello! I've posted something similar a while back, asking for advice on things like inventing poses and positioning bodies in perspective space, and asked which Proko courses were best for learning that, as I wanted to get into making my own comics. I was advised to focus on the Figure Drawing Fundamentals and the mannequinization section. But now that the course listings have expanded, is there anything else that people would recommend for the fundamentals? I have so many classes purchased here that the real challenge for me is finding direction to start learning, so any guidance is really appreciated.

Have you checked out Steven Michael Hampton's Gesture and Introduction to Figure Construction courses? There is some overlap with the Figure Drawing Fundamentals courses but I really like the systematic way Hampton approaches things. His courses also mirror his Figure Drawing: Design and Invention book. Having a system to build a figure from gesture to architected pose seems like it would be really useful for the applications you mention. Hampton's course doesn't focus on rendering, just on building the underlying figure form that you can then apply anatomy or costume to with whatever rendering you're after.

Honestly, I think figure drawing funded has everything you need, I’d just spend a lot of time really learning that so you understand the mannequinization process and gesture drawing really, really well.

Michael Hampton’s Gesture Course might be helpful for inventing poses. Or if you have a course that has lessons on gesture, revisit those lessons.
