Looking for critique - digital illustration

Hi! So I am back with another illustration I've been working on for a while and I am looking for critique. I tried implementing as much information from your feedback into this painting as possible. I was wondering - should I maybe draw the roses at the top of the cake bigger? I feel like it would look unbalanced. Thank you!

So, Natali, what is this illustration telling us? What's the story? and does the composition help to tell it? Right now, the way the composition is, it's telling me that the sash and rose on the wall above the woman is the center of interest. Why? Because all the leading lines are pointing at it, and it has all this room around it in the picture frame that is giving it importance. Also, the woman's face is covered by her arm, so clearly she's not important, plus, her clothing blends in with the background. Do you see how important composition is in telling a story? I did a quick and very sloppy sketch to show you how you could rearrange the composition to give the image a more clear center of interest. Now, these ideas are based on the assumption that the woman and the cake are the center of interest in the image. I hope this helps :)

Hi Steve Thank you so much for your feedback! I was trying to get the viewers attention on the cake and the roses on the cake (I was thinking of this being a poster for a bakery showing one of their wedding cakes) but kind of didn't realize that the elements I put in were actually driving it away to the sash. The woman was not meant to be important but I did not intentd the sash and the rose on the wall to be the center of interest at all. I'm gonna go back and work on this to fix these mistakes. I also wanna ask about a lot of space giving an area attention. I thought that the more detailed areas tend to get the viewers attention. Or does it depend on the balance of the details/values etc. in a composition? Thank you once more!
