Liquid Charcoal as a Bridge Medium Between Drawing and Painting

A new medium! Holy charcoal Batman! This stuff is awesome. I recently discovered the existence of liquid charcoal from Dave Finch's YouTube channel (check out the livestream of his liquid charcoal Batman. Amazing.) I saw what it could do, and I was instantly sold.
Highly recommend it for people who are thinking about dabbling with painting but are unsure if they can handle a brush or color just yet.
Sir Alec Guiness. Charcoal on vellum Bristol.
Give it a shot!
I haven't even gotten the Blackwings yet. What're you doing to me?

Nice work! I saw the same stream and was interested in giving liquid charcoal a shot too. What brand did you end up using?
Thanks! You should go for it! I went with the Schmincke Grapeseed Black. It's more of a dark gray than pure black, kind of a gritty Paynes Grey, so I followed Mr. Viktor Farro's advice of building layers of dark then going over the top of it with some black Prismacolor for the darkest parts and added texture.
Fun stuff. I've seen your watercolors, good sir, so I'm sure you'll make something incredible with it, haha.
