Ladies and Gentlemen, drawing while blindfolded!

Okay, so maybe not blindfolded - but certainly without the aid of corrective lenses. The older I've gotten the more I need glasses while sketching. Without them what's ending up on the paper in my lap is pretty fuzzy. Still, I persisted with this sketch and I actually think it helped focus me more on overall shapes and to ignore tertiary details. This was a 10-15 minute sketch to practice proportions, shapes and shadow mapping. The subjects are the actors Robert Young and Jane Wyatt from a promotional still for the old TV show "Father Knows Best".
I'd grade this doodle of mine a "C" for effort. The likenesses are fair and the shapes almost accurate. Certainly, after the fact, I can see many missteps. But what do you think?
As alway, much more study is needed :-)

Nice. Challenging ourselves, aren't we?
