Form manipulation: horn

Hey guys, another entry of mine. Let me share with you this drawing that looks in fact very easy and nothing special, but it cost me a lot. Sketching on a piece of dirty paper in my break, sitting on the dirty floor, the other time stepping of my bike on my way to work and using a stone as a table to sketch on. No fancy Wacom was needed to create another new skill.late in the evening in the bathroom and notes here and there. I drew boxes, tilted them, rotated them, drawing orthos and then… horn. Twisted and in spiral and coming down, turning up again and moving to the side and tapering. What about contours? Ok… how to figure this out?!how to have a grip on it.m?! And Zero study materials, just knowledge of how to draw boxes and lots of small dirty papers and a mechanical pen in my pocket but I kept pushing. I have invented a technique and created a study material how to draw it. You know mufflons? and their horns? I thought how impressive. I thought if I can figure this form to draw, I can draw anything. Out of maybe 20 small papers I drew this piece, besides horn. You can see there lots of joy, struggles, dedication, frustrations and hard work. Makes me happy and content. After all. Now I can draw it in Wacom, add some shadows and extra features. Cool. Do you have the same art journey of discovering new things and breaking through? Any feedback highly welcomed. Ps. The thing is when i drew it take a step back I could see what i would have done different- so there is still work to be better in charge while working in progress… thank you
