Hey there! Great work so far! I recommend working on your line quality to make your drawings cleaner, and easier to understand. You will notice mistakes far more often if you work more precisely. There are some drawings where you did a pretty great job in perspective, while there are also some others where you don't seem to understand the 3D space. I also recommend working on that. Other than that your figures are mostly fine, there are some proportion issues here and there, but they will get fixed over time (especially if you learn more about perspective). I really like your more gestural approach on the 6th drawing, I'd definitely stick with that, it's amazing :) Keep up the good work!

Hi Tobias, Mannequinization is a tough one so hang in there! I spent almost a month on it before i could convince myself to move forward. Coming to your drawings, remember to apply everything you learned in the previous lessons! I can see you are using the cylinders and boxes to simplify things and that's great, it will help you simplify form. Now you need to make them look more gestural, try and be more loose with the initial lay in, one way you could do that is by controlling your line weight. Mannequinization will also test your designing ability, use information that is absolutely essential for the pose and then add details where needed. I would say the best way to start is with a loose gesture, then find the right perspective. (take a step back and look for angles) Keep an eye out for the negative shapes! While I wouldn't recommend you measuring out everything while doing these poses I would surely recommend keeping proportions in mind while doing these. Proportions can play a key role in determining likeness to subject. I did the first pose you chose in my own process to show you how i approach it. I am sorry for my line quality I am very new to Digital Art. Let me know if this was helpful!

Hi @Tobias Degnebolig , Mannequization is no easy task but it looks llike you are putting in some good effort here. Two things I am noticing in your work 1) It seems like in some of your drawings you are using a lot of contour lines. I would maye recommend trying to reduce the amount of contour lines you use and instead using one or two really good ones that define the form you are trying to indicate. 2) Some of your lines seem to be worked over and over in an attempt to get the correct shape. Instead of drawing so many repeating lines, instead consider erasing out lines that aren't correct and trying to confidently put down the correct line a second time. Hope this helps a bit!

Good work, Tobias! I like that you're following along the videos so closely taking notes. I do the same thing (and have some similar drawings), so we're definitely birds of a feather.
