I think you got the shape pretty nicely done. I would probably say the edges doesn't have much variations. The shadow needs to be tighter/sharper when it's closer to the apple. Also the edge of the apple seems to be uniformly sharp, to a point it almost looks like the apple is pasted on top. Try adding a bit stronger reflections of those yellow towards the edge of the apple and it will show as "in context" a bit more. keep up the great work!

Hey raffrank, @mil3s is correct about the shadow, it needs to have a hard edge near the apple, but also, considering the light direction, it seems like the shadow should be more to the side. I did a quick sketch, hope it helps :)

Great work! The main thing that stands out to me is the direction of the wood grain doesn't look in the same perspective as the apple. I would also say that the cast shadow from the apple looks too soft, were the apple meets the table there would be a very hard and comparatively dark occlusion shadow.
