It looks like you corrected the edges between your two pears, and cleaned up your shading, so nice work! But, be mindful of how dark you're drawing the edges of the shapes. The outline of the highlight should be as dark as the value surrounding it. For the portrait, I'd recommend cleaning up the shading just a bit more. Make sure your pencil strokes overlap so there aren't gaps of paper peeking through! I'd see about taking another look at the hair, and giving the lighter value there a bit more of a defined shape/value. Keep up the good work!

It is far too early for you to take on a portrait, so you should focus on the pear and basic forms for now. First try to understand the 3d from of the pear, then try to draw the shadow shape on it with fewest lines possible.
