Great work capturing the planes and volume of the pear! I would recommend pushing the overall values a bit darker. The darkest part of the pear should be closer in value to the shadow below it, and remember to take your shadows and divide them into a light and dark shadow. It will keep the halftones and shadows distinct! Overall, you did an excellent job with simplifying the shapes of the pear and identifying the shapes of the different values. Keep it up!
Here is the improved version of the pear. side by side. My page becomes saturated with graphite very quickly like after 2b and 4b there was not much texture left to also add 6b when applying 6b it was not doing much but overall, I have tried.
