Clockwise or Counterclockwise

I was wondering if everyone draws circles and arcs both clockwise or counterclockwise? Or do you only do one way? Does it affect your curves or should I be trying to be equally efficient both ways?
Christopher Corbell
Definitely counter-clockwise with pencil! I'm not sure why it seem more natural. (Also right-handed). With dip pen though I have to go both directions, two semi-circles that meet, it's maddening. I try to practice curves both directions but paradoxically I think my best curves are up and to the right, which is a clockwise arc.

It depends what hemeshpseir you live in. Northerners go counter clockwise while for Southerners it's clockwise... it's Science!! (Or is that only for toilet bowls? Do people still get Simpson reference in the year 2026 of our Lord?)

This is a fun question! I never thought about it, but I think I always draw them counterclockwise. I will experiment with going clockwise though and see if it makes a difference... Maybe someone more experienced will have advice on whether it makes a difference

I usually go counter as well but I'm right handed. It makes my brain feel funny when I go clockwise.
