Hello everyone i primarily make comics and recently have encountered a problem is that I think of camera shots in comics based on live action film type cinematography and I have the following questions
*What are the differences in camera angle type in comics vs live-action film
*Is there any difference of usage of camera angle shots in comics vs live action film
I am really confused about it
This video goes over the use of Wide, Standard and long lens's in Cinema and how they apply to illustrations. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRdIa4TFgJQ
From my perspective there is not much difference in use of shots, angles, and lens effects in cinema and comics. The trick is figuring out how to layout panels and designing the page so it works in comic book form. (Something I'm not all that sure how to do despite reading a ton of comics XD) There is a book by Will Eisner "Comics and Sequential Art" that focus solely on those concepts, may be worth taking a look at.
Best of luck.
