Another cloud travel piece

So I finished another piece with gouache. I call these cloud travel, basically a reference picture from the internet and some imaginative stuff added on top of it.
The colour didn't really pop in this one, and greens are quite hard to tackle so yeah, what do you guys think?

Really nice work, i love the variations in the colour in the sky. The two figures look really great

Thanks! That's because I wanted to make it look closer to the reference on screen, it appears a bit more "red" than on paper so I was trying to glaze some red tone on top, but it got a bit muddy... this is the first time I incorporate a figure in the image and try to make the colour harmonic. I used to black and white so I thought I may try colour. I roughly mapped the lit/shaded shapes in the figure and filled in the colour next.

Thank you! It's kinda accidental. This scanner of mine has a huge problem with green colours and it's so hard to reproduce what I've seen on paper :( But I managed to grade the colour in GIMP to a slightly yellow-ish look and that turned out alright, gives some sunny feelings.
