2mm lead holders

I have this 2mm lead holder from the brand "Baile". Some cheap china produced thing... It works great really, but how is it compared to the Mars Technico led holder from Staedtler? The Steadler is really expencive compared to mine. So, is it worth it? Does anyone in the community own them both?

Hi Paul, I've not used these lead holders specifically but I have used many others. In my experience per item cost has little correlation to user experience. Some of my favorite lead holders have cost me only a little bit of cash. Conversely my most expensive one, the Rotring Rapid Pro 2.0, is only slightly more pleasant to use. Personally I like the one that Koh-I-Noor makes. Its called: Koh-I-Noor Toison d'Or Lead Holder. Relatively inexpensive and very light in your hand.

Hello Paul! For me, the Steadler lead holder, is worth it. I Have one since 1998 and it's still working as good as new. I bought a cheap one last year to hold my 2B and 4B, the mechanism didnt last a year. I hope it can help. Have a good day! @Paul Olsen

I own neither :( Mine is a czech brand called KOH-I-NOOR. I like it, although recently I've been using more a 5.6mm lead (by the same brand) and a 0.9mm mechanical pencil by Pentel.
