After watching the demo and the critique video I reviewed my own work and took some notes. I then tried to apply the lessons learned to a second attempt at the same pear. I think I'm going to keep this process up moving forward. Writing down notes and critiques on each piece really helped me focus.

I used pear #2 for my simplified portrait. I did have some problems deciding what was the darkest sections of the pear.
