Levels 1 & 2: Funny enough I felt better about the camel compared to the snail. While I've done figure drawing before and understand in general how to generalize limbs with curves and straights, the snail is more freeform. One question I'd have is how to handle different "elevations" when the line is more or less implied. Take for example the snail. On the neck section closer to the head, there is a clear change in elevation between where the snail touches the wood and the top of the snail's head. The lower part is more squished while body that is closer to the camera is tubular. How would one use line to express that plain change clearly or would that be something that comes with value later on? Anyway, fun project. And no one get discouraged! There are many talented artists in this course and the only difference between them and us is practice. Don't get discouraged, keep at it, I'm right there with you.
