Took a few tries on printer paper before I was comfortable adding to my class sketchbook. I’m happy with it overall. It is progress for me.

The last one I did while watching the video. I don’t seem to have an option without critique. So feel free to not I suppose.

The hand was infuriating. Multiple attempts. Still frustrated at proportions.

I can relate to that. But I think you did a pretty good job, @Patricia French! I second what Stan says - hands aren’t easy to draw, and, just by looking at the number of lessons Stan has done solely on hands in the anatomy course, we get a glimpse of the complexity. Maybe try to not get too caught up on nailing proportions right now, since this is still a beginner’s lesson on learning to observe and sketch. Frustration will pass, the learning you get from your diligent practice will stay. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work.

Hands are one of the hardest subjects to draw. The recent measuring proportions lesson might help you. It'll probably still be frustrating, but you'll need to battle through it to train your eyes to see correctly. Those weights are heavy, and they make your muscles hurt, but you gotta lift them to get stronger. Think of the frustration as soreness after exercises.
