This was so much fun! Spent probably 90% of the time for this project on charcoal drawing with grid and still something is a bit wonky with the drawing. 😅 Still very proud. I never thought I would be able to do a portrait like this. Thanks Morgan for an awesome course.

I tried the simplified grid drawing but realised I am not ready for it. Need more practise with the detailed grid. Hard enough as is! :D

Color variations and…done?! Morgan, this was so much fun. This course is amazing. Learned a lot.

you may find out that your average light is too light and too high in chroma. i would add a touch of black and the other two colors to tone it down in value too.

My attempt at focusing on edges. Fun! Felt like there was a high risk to start confusing shadow / dark when working with the softest edges. Drawing without grid was a good practise at least. 😅

I can tell you clicked with the edges lesson. Your drawing is a little off but with this exercise it wasn't what it was all about.
