I really hope I'm on time for the critique. This was much more challenging than the level 1 and the fuzzy lines kept coming in unfortunately. It was very exiting nevertheless

I struggled a bit to "forget" what I learned in the last lesson and just focus on loose sketching. Also my lines tend to start strong and taper just at the end, I find it difficult to start with a taper.

Day 12
I tried warming up before this session, and I feel it really helped. I am continuing to draw trying to follow the simplifying in CSI principle and I think I am starting to see improvements. Very gratifying, it make me want to keep drawing more and more

Some feet drawings I did. Any critique is welcomed!

Love them. I don't know if I am qualified to critique, but I noticed that in the first picture the foreshortening is very nice, and generally you separate very clearly the structure of the ball of the foot + fingers from the rest and that makes the drawing feel accurate and believable. Nice job!

Day 19 of 14. Gave the last image another shot. Glad I made the attempt, just because I almost didn't do anything today and here we are 2 really bad attempts :)

Those are not bad at all! I really like the intensity of the shading in the second picture, you really captured the high contrast quality of the image

Day 11
Same thing for yesterday, today I focused on the CSI with quick sketches and tried not to get distracted by chasing accuracy. The first drawing was very unsatisfactory, I feel the only purposed it fulfilled was to warm me up. Maybe I should really start implementing daily warmups. I tried a second time and felt much more fluid and "in it". It was very fun.
Unfortunately I am very lazy about posting, so today I dumped everything at once, and feel I may not be the best at taking pictures, ouch

Day 10
I started with the fox, for which I didn't collect the reference. Then I watched the Level 2 Demo for the CSI project, and tried to redo the drawing simplifying as much as I could, getting a somewhat gestural rendition of the fox. Then I started doing the same for the following animal references generated by the site (lineofaction.com, found it through IG, loving it). I didn't screenshot the lizard, so I can't provide the original picture for that drawing. I found these quick sketches were very fun and gratifying.

Late to posting. I started with the boots and realized I wasn't simplifying enough. Jumped to the snail and then started another drawing of the boots. It was a headache! I spent so much time on all those laces, only to see Stan freestyle them in the demo, damn it. Again, leaving accuracy behind was a true challenge, in which I didn't really succeed, even once I went to the camel and the skull. If I try to make the line look good it's really difficult for me not to worry about other parts of the drawing looking good too, I guess?
Watching the second demo really inspired me though, and send me on a drawing spree of quick simplified CSI sketches, with a focus kept on the line. I guess seeing Stan falling for the foreshortening of the camel kind of gave me courage and reminded me that the journey never really ends. Nevertheless, I find simplifying a very challenging exercise.
English is not my first language, so apologies for any mistake I might have made!
