So far I have been practicing gesture more and is happy with my results so far. I am very happy I am getting better, finally. What do you all think about my results. I tried my best to do #5 although it did not come out that great. Do you know how I can continue to improve.

Hey, thank for your comment on my last post! About your drawings: I think you could pay more attention to the rhythms of the gestures and focus less on the contours. Try to make the lines harmonious and make deliberately clear which curves are fluid and which ones are more tense.

Kinda struggling with getting the flow and gesture of people, is there any thing I should do to try and improve these quick sketches? Thanks

I recommend you draw using some refference photos, in order to get more used to the proportions and forms of the human body.

Here's my attempt at some 2 minutes gesture drawing. Any feedback is welcome!

Yours drawings are awesome! The only thing I noticed is that the breasts of the woman with the chair are not aligned with the perspective of the torso.

I made these gesture drawings after watching the video. The drawings 1-4 took about 1 min each and the drawings 5-8 took 2 min. All advices and comments are welcome! I'll do my best to work on my weaknesses.

I've been drawing quicksketchs focusing on gesture for a while now, but I can't really grasp where have been failing on. I can tell when a pose is stiff or weird but I don't know why.

Your drawings are very expressive! About the weirdness of stiffnes: I see you've drawn simple lines to give form to the parts of the body, but I think sometimes you didn't use the lines to represent the actual lines of action, while focusing too much on the form.

Hello everyone, these are 2-minute gesture drawings I've done for the past couple of days. I feel like they're a bit on the cartoony side and not that realistic/proportional. The way I drew these was by starting with the robo bean and then attaching the limbs.
Do I need to learn anatomy in conjunction with figure drawing to make my drawings look more realistic/proportional? Or should I just focus on figure drawing for now and worry about anatomy further down the line?

I like your drawings. I would think more about the action lines for the hole body, not just the torso or limbs separately.
