Here is my hippo :D. So I first tried to be very blocky (left images) then I moved on into the top right, more organic shapes I guess, then I just went for a mini sketch (bottom right). I will try to play with shapes and then move on into the other animals.

Hi, I am level 1 beginner, I'm still trying to do the draw from imagination. I have posted the reference images, 2 pages with research then I have one with drawing from my head and then the lonely one is the final result. Any feedback is welcome!!!
