Hey! Loving the lessons so far. Question regarding characteristic features. What should I do when I can't seem to find any prominent features in a person (regular sized nose, regular eyes, everything pretty "average")? Should I somehow force it and emphasize whatever I feel like?

Everyone has some dominant feature- you just have to exploit the spacing or features. Pretty people are harder but what makes them pretty....focus on that feature to accentuate the appeal of that pretty face
