Okay got a bunch here. I started off with a couple Mike Butkus studies but found most of his stuff was heavily rendered, though I do love his illustrations. I found a couple images from an old instruction booklet he wrote.
Then I did some David Finch studies. He's my favorite comic book artist. I only did some portions of his work though, as I frequently do studies of him to begin with.
Finally I did a couple Jeff Watts studies cause I love his line work as well... and I just couldn't think of anyone else to do. Of course I attempted the skull but also did a figure of his I found in a Google search. I attempted one in graphite in my sketchbook during my work lunch break. I found it very difficult and decided to try it again, at home, with charcoal.

Started a Spider-Man 2099 sketch and figured I'd get some line weight practice in with it. Had fun with this one. Tried doing a combo of hierarchy and light/shadow.

Okay slay me. My pup kept moving... I did my best. I attempted to draw some random cereal boxes and soda cans my son left out on our table but I was just not enjoying it. The barrel sharpener, however, had some fun ridges to play with. I probably should've used a straight edge.

Here's mine. I call him, "The PAINgolin." Hard to tell but there is a lighter, looser, drawing underneath the cleaned up lines - I got carried away and didn't follow directions. I was focusing on my tapered and CSI lines.

Couple of the lvl 1 assignments. I admit I got impatient with the hangy round thing in the second one.

I think I got a little carried away with the skull drawing and added a little too much detail, so I tried to keep it more simplified in the camel drawing.
My portraits, before, and after watching the critique video. The first one here, that fits on the page, is the 2nd attempt.
