Here is my assignment. I took the picture of my daughter. Actually I not only added the new lines in every next step but also made corrections in previous ones when I saw I have made a mistake. I don't know if it isn't against the rules of this task. Precise measurements are not my strongest side but I did my best! :)

Wow! This sounds like an interesting project, @Ieva Paleja. I'm sure that simply writing in English is already a very effective way to help you memorize and use the words you learn. But more than that, you're also combining the writing practice with the creative works of building up a story, characters and a fictional world, and of illustrating everything. Sounds quite complex and, certainly, a lot of fun! Hope you're enjoying the process!

A comic for learning English1yr
Hi everybody! Recently I started a new project - I am creating kind of comic for learning English. Which means - I put advanced English vocabulary what I learn in this comic. I hope this is a way to memorize it better (otherwise I forget everything). Here I put some illustrations.
All the blog is here: https://purpledandelionsworld.blogspot.com/
I would be glad to hear the feedback.

Great idea about using hieroglyphics! However I am afraid this never will be understood without explanation.

When drawing from observation is getting the correct line you observe just pure intuition ? If you are not measuring.
I feel like i have been really overthinking drawing from observation lately.
Are you guys focusing hard on the line you are seeing on your subject and going line by line until your done. Or do you interpret the shape of your subject more and try to copy ?
I hope this made any sense.
I feel like the awnser is that you guys dont really think about it and just pull your line and im overthinking it.

Yes, I use my intuition, I do not think too much when drawing. The good news is - the police will not come even if I make a mistake. :)

Where does a master study begin and just using an art piece you like as reference end?
1yr
I think that master study begin when you take a MASTER'S artwork not any picture from the internet.

This is very interesting challenge! I like a lot of masters but for this task I chose two: Hokusai and Albrecht Durer. Hokusai (the first one) I did with fountain pen, both Durer copies - with charcoal pencil.

Hello,
I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I can't seem to play the video. It loads as "completed" with the blue check with no playback option. Thanks for all that you do!

This is my submission. I used Chinese ink for rhino. I imagined the light coming from the opposite direction. And other two pictures are the same tree, in one line weight based on importance, in other - on the light/shadow. I used fountain pen for the tree. It was still cold outside so I was not able to draw the lines carefully.
