I'd like to start using gouache it seems like such a great media. Is this step, establishing all of your values, your first step before color, would you start color on top of this?

I really enjoy these paintings! They remind me of Mark Tansey, have you heard of this painter? I think his content is similar to yours, the sort of stories he tells in this paintings.
