this exercise felt like a beast! a bit afraid to draw the boots lol, but gonna attempt them tomorrow anyway. also, watched the demo just for the snail and wrote some notes.

last attempt before moving to lines. feels quite improved, at least more than my second attempt.

Second attempt. tried to capture the light and dark areas better, but i feel like i just created a bit of a mess. still enjoyed the process though, and i know ill get better at it through the rest of the course, so whatever.

so much better than how i thought it would turn out. i know i have a long way to go, but im glad i took that first step. i have faith the rest of the course is as fun as this assignment.
