Hi community, here are my attempts at the sketches before watching the demo. I feel like I managed to keep the intended "loose, sketchy" style best for the penguin, the other two were complicated enough shapes that I kept catching myself focusing too hard on trying to get the lines right, trying to be too "precise" rather than loose. Would love to hear some feedback and pointers on how to improve.

Great challenge. I'm attaching the two drawings I did before seeing Stan's demo and the two after. I feel like seeing the demo helped me a lot in better understanding how to make my lines simpler and clearer, but I still have a long way to go, especially with detail-oriented segments like the shoelaces.

This was fun! Still a long way to go, but I could already notice the improvement between my first and last mushroom on the page. I'll make this one a part of my drawing warmup routine :)

Following Stan's advice, I'd like to share two attempts at drawing the pear: my first drawing, which I did before watching the tutorial (I only had a 6B pencil for this), and the second, which I created alongside Stan's demo, using all the same types of pencils he did.
