As a complete beginner, does anyone else find these courses incredibly frustrating? Currently, I'm at the Line Master Studies videos, but I feel like so far, the emphasis has been solely on "just drawing" without any concrete guidelines. This approach works fine for simpler subjects like animals, but when it comes to the human form, there's a lack of guidance. For example, in the Jeff Watts skull study video, instead of just deconstructing his technique and discussing line attributes, providing general information about skull construction and the relative proportions of facial features would be incredibly helpful. In essence, complete beginners (like myself, presumably the target audience for this course) require more structured instruction than just "vibes." Without clear guidance, I find it difficult to diversify my studies, especially with challenging subjects like the human form. While I appreciate the course encouraging me to draw, I expected a more methodical approach with concrete instructions. I'll continue with the course and report back if the current elements come together as we progress, but I wanted to voice my concerns for now.

In the Line section, my impression is that drawing accurately isn't really the point. In that section, the focus is primarily on improving line quality. I found it a little frustrating as well, because I don't think line quality is as fundamental as observation and accuracy, but that's probably what the reasoning is. I would expect more guidance on form and anatomy from later lessons.
