I feel like I'm back in my human anatomy class ((biology study) at Uni:D

I did a few beans, any advice or critism for improvement? I did these as warm-ups in between my busy schedule.

hello, these are some of the beans that i drew. Did them before Stan and then compared to his drawings. And I have a problem with twisting, takes me a while to decide what way should I twist them.

2nd try...I was trying to make some cross contours but I really suck at it so far... I’ll keep trying-just wanted to show I try;) any feedback very appreciated,I love your suggestions- they are really helpful! Thank you, guys!

I tried overhand grip with Ipencil , didn’t know it’s possible! Lines are a bit wonky, I know... but I did try to vary the line as suggested:) what do you think? Any criticism very very welcome!

I used bird for the pose, gave him seahorse head with grasshoppers antennae, mushroom texture on the head, fern wing, beatle feet and tail from daisy and jellyfish. For the bkg I used the landscape reference... I know I should polish it but it’s 4 am and I wouldn’t make it to the deadline... so this is a sketch I made in Procreate that I’m just getting to know...

Hi, I'm Vera from Slovenia - a tiny country in the middle of Europe (ex Yugoslavia). I have a PhD in biology and was a scientific researcher for 20 years but decided to give art a try because drawing at night and doing research at day with 3 kids is not sustainable in the long run as I found out;). (I was sick all the time due to the lack of sleep). So now I am trying to make it as a freelance illustrator and my end goal is to become a children's book illustrator. I have no art education (except online classes) so any help and criticism are more than welcome! If you want to make her naked she would look more real if her breasts would fall more naturally (especially the front breast). In case you will dress her up, it's ok since there are bras that could make breasts look this way. Sometimes a bit less perfect is more attractive because it gives character and real-feel. I hope this helps. BKG: what are you going for? Sports car, beach, surfer-board,...

If you are still together, you can just tell him to pose for you and you'll see in the reference picture where the shirt would go. You can also go really loose on the shirt so it won't be so obvious if you don't want to deal with all that. But I think it would be worth it because it's a beautiful portrait!

I'm not a pro and I don't know your reference so take it with a grain of salt: usually, the bridge of the nose is indented and then the nose sticks out. This comes from my biology point of view - the two sides of the scull-bones meet in the middle and that is the low point of the brow-ridge - in case you wanted feedback on that as well. I don't know much about the paper problems; you have probably already tried different softness of the pencil...
