Don't think I'm having trouble memorizing the proportions just like the others struggling to get a clear diagram as well as some issues with symmetry.

Struggled a bit with this so I had to come back to it. It was hard too keep things consistent after I had an idea of how I wanted the bear to look but I think I got a bit better at that. The last three are from my second sitting.

Did all three as a warmup for drawing from imagination and one extra drawing of Doremi, hope I'm not straying from the point the exercise with that one. Tried not too fixate that much so things wouldn't get too messy.

Forgive the bad photo used an hb and just couldn't get it to come out well in any of the lighting setups I tried. Left is reference right is memory. I think I'm getting the proportions to click into memory. Not sure how much at this point I should be worrying about how well I am able to draw the skeleton itself for the diagram though.

Except for the snail everything looks a bit more scratchy than I initially thought. I did a fair bit of erasing so maybe that has something to do with it.

Played around a bit with some of what I had on hand, might add more later. Some graphite pencils HB, 4B and 2B. I had some Blick markers that I hadn't used much before. I think I can see what Stan meant when he said any other brand of marker might cause frustration as it seemed to not get a consistent flow of ink out of it. Though in general, marker kinda cool.

Not quite sure about these. Looking at them now lot of them do look like they could of been pushed more but I think I can improve on that with time. What's worrying me the most right now is my mark making as going through this process of drawing the figure has made the issue that much more apparent to me. I figured that it would improve as I go through the lessons and I do think I have been making strides but I'm worried that I may only be continuing to develop bad habits in the long run if I don't find a way to tackle the issue head on. I plan on revisiting the landmarks section in a week or two, I think that may be part of the problem. I also intend to go through the basics course as well at some point as I defiantly think that is worth looking into as well. Any thoughts and/or critique is appreciated.

I really like action poses so this was pretty fun. I tried drawing the pose as is then making an action pose based off of it right next to it.

Fairly happy with how these are coming out so far. Any tips or advice on anything it looks like I could work on would be much appreciated. (Photo ref from lineofaction.com)

Some Robo Beans in no particular order mostly after looking at the example videos. Looking back at them I think I need to work on getting the proportions on them more consistent. Gonna try to make more of a habit of starting with a full regular bean to see if that helps. Any critique, feedback, and or advice would be appreciated.

Here are some of my landmark studies before looking at the examples. (Photo refs from lineofaction.com) Not quite sure about the best way to approach these. What I did was draw right next to the photo references with no time limit and no erasing. Maybe there is a variable here I should change to approach this assignment more effectively? Any sort of critiques, thoughts or feedback would be much appreciated.

(Photo refs from lineofaction.com) Some more after watching the lesson examples not quite certain how to depict some of these lands marks in the drawings such as the smaller parts like the acromion process or the epicondyles but I plan on trying to figure this out while I move forward with the next lessons.

Tried to a bit of everything. This is nearly all of what I've done for this assignment. Any critique/feedback would be much appreciated.

Did a few more trying following the advice of @Jesper Axelsson (thanks again). Ended up getting a little caught up trying to get my angles and measurements right with the objects. Kept noticing how off they were when I looked at the photos side by side.

Hi everyone, i've did some 1 minutes gesture drawings . I've tried to do 30 seconds gesture drawings but i couldn't catch up with the time . I would really appreciate any type of advice/criticism. I'm sorry if the photos quality is low, i've did the photos several times but i couldn't get them right.

I think these are looking pretty good. They read well and you don't add any superfluous lines. The kicking pose is the one where I see some stuff that could be tweaked. The pose seems broken where the torso meets the legs, I think it could benefit if you tried drawing through the figure from the front of the torso to the figures right leg.

Hello everyone I finished watching the first videos in the gesture course. Your opinions and feedback would be great.

I think extending some of your lines from the torso through the legs would help. There are times like in the top left and right of the third page where you almost do it but you break it into two strokes when it could of been one. I would also try avoiding the wrapping of forms you do in the second page, I don't think it's doing much for the gesture. I think you had a good idea with the ink blotches, the second and fourth ones on the top row look particularly good, the poses flow through the joints pretty nicely.

Here's some more gestures. Following the advice of @Kristian Nee I have been trying to experiment with the Reilly Method to try to get my gestures more put together than they were before. On my better attempts, I think doing it this way has helped me improve on getting the motion from the torso to the legs. For simpler standing and sitting poses I think I have a decent starting point for making the gesture, but for more complex ones I'm having a little trouble finding out where to start. I think I'm moving in the right direction but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how to refine what I have here so any advice would be much appreciated. Here are some of my Beans. I think what's lacking in them is a distinction between front and back, properly showing the twisting motion, and a lack of exaggeration. When comparing my beans to the poses I used I noticed in 8 I think I'm putting my overlapping lines in the wrong place. The last two image files are one of my more recent bean drawing sessions in October and one of my initial beans in July. I think there is some obvious improvement in line quality but if there is anything in regards to that or my understating of the concept, any feedback would be much appreciated. Here's some more 30 sec gestures. I generally find that i struggle to get proportions right and finishing within the 30 seconds. I think I've improved a little bit in the last month or so and any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely keep the advice given in mind moving forward and will post more gestures when I think I've gotten it down a bit more.

Hello. These are some 30 sec and 2 min gestures. Some of the issues I think I'm having are broken lines and not being able to finish in time. Advice on that or any other issues I may not have mentioned or noticed would be much appreciated.
