soo i i made a humanoid grasshopper body with the reference of the grasshopper,i used the green bugs body as a shell shield and in combination with the reference of the armor i made a flowing full body exoskeleton armor, the elegant smoth forms are based on the reference of the bike so are the mechanical parts,i used the plane and made the propeller hands of death plus i used the wings and i made them stick out of the shell, the shell and around the body are small to larger holes,i used the reference of the gun for that to create a battle warn look*like the character has faced some battles in the past and has the scars or holes as proof)

Hi everyone, this is my first ever submission for the proko challenge, couldn't decide on a name for this character. I was thinking maybe he's an intergalactic bounty hunter who hunts rare creatures for the highest bid. I honestly had a lot of fun with this and decided to include some of the process alongside the illustration as well as the reference i used. I rarely ever do challenges like this and this is my first time designing a character, so it was good to see where i was at in terms of my skill level and creativity. Wish i had more time to do some further design itterations on the character and machine gun but oh well. Hope you guys enjoy this and good luck to whoever is participating :)

I've quickly created an sci-fi underwater environment painting with the help of the photo bashing technique. Fast and rougher than my usual paintings. But bext time I really have to use a higher resolution ^^. Also, this is the first time I ever painted an underwater enviroment (could contain major flaws ^^). I used the transform tools to manipulate the three reference images to my will and let my mind roam free around the canvas. This was a very fun challenge because I could try out so many things. The round sci-fi artifact in the middle happened to be a happy accident will transforming the mushrooms (corals). I only chose 3 references because I wanted to see how much different things I can get out of only a few images. Also I did this, to break the habit of wasting to much time finding a huge amount of references before I even start drawing. I hope this helped. Process video: https://youtu.be/_xg47vLVp04

An old rapier might be overkill for such small helpess prey, but this Lemur deserter is trying to make it work.

My idea was prehistoric birds. I was really inspired by the Crash McCreery Lightbox interview. This was really fun to do.

Here is my warrior priestess sketch. She is usually summoned by monks for some short, but deadly mission. Her powers depend on the portal which doesn't last long. But while warrior monk is there, almost nothing can stop her.

Hi, i just wanted to share what i did! I learned so much from not zooming in and getting lost in details. Taking shapes and gestures from references was also such a creative exercise that I hope to continue doing it in my work from now on. Thanks for arranging this challenge!
