Here is my submission for both levels. Before I started I thought it will be an easy assignment but when I started doing it it was challenging. To judge base and make it flat was tough. It was tough but a very enjoyable experience. I have hardly used markers so that was another difficult part to make it streak free. I was unable to do that but will try again and learn. Below are the images. First one is level one, second one is blind one - level2 and last one is using prismacolor marker cool gray.

When I see a painting that catches my breath I want to go inside and learn all about the story in front of me. I want to draw not just the story in front of me but also the story that is happening away from our eyes, in other words my goal is to learn perspective so I can correctly depict what is in front of me as well as from angles I cannot see. My other goal for future is to depict people in places that I have captured in my imagination. Some of the paintings I enjoy looking at and their artist 1. Raphel 2. Jacques Rousseau 3. Thomas Cole 4. Casper Van Wittel 5. Arthur E. Grimshaw 6 and 7 are couple of the pictures that I captured on my various travels that I would love to bring to life on a canvas and also draw them from a different angle.

Thanks for your feedback. I have been watching draftsman podcast since it started so was waiting for this course. I am a beginner but very excited to learn from the best teacher.

Good job! It’s cool that you pushed yourself to add limbs to the figures. I notice that some of the edges of the boxes don’t line up. I see it mostly on the heads. Here is how I might think about it. Hope it helps. Keep it up.

My Level 2 submission. Initially was little difficult to put heads in box as couldn't separate Jawline. Once figured that out was little better. Tried hard to get features right but need more practice and lot of time.

Asked for help
I used overhand grip with a charcoal pencil on newspaper print. It was challenging, interesting and fun assignment. Proko's lesson -confident swooping strokes makes sketching faster was reenforced. Attached is my submission for rhythm assignment
