I like the first one best as it shows contrast and looks like it has more volume. I used to sketch people on the train every morning. I think the constant observation helped a lot on the proportions and likeness. Although I didn’t work on rendering because I used a biro and notebook to look like I was writing and not sketching.

I discovered this challenge while binge watching the first season of the Draftsman podcast. There was no better choice than to continue listening into the second season while creating the speakers into animals. I had a few ideas, yet when Rafiki came to mind, I knew that he was the perfect candidate for Marshall. In my mind's eye, I could see Marshall holding up Stan off the cliff with Scar in the background, matching the intensity of Ethan's persona. When I connected his eye brow scar to the cartoon... Well, I couldn't resist. - Anthony @whenanthonywas

Hi fellow morph makers - this is my influencer AMANDA CERNY changing into a seal. It was her pose and colour of dress that influenced my decision to make her that way.

I like the one one with more warm gold texture best - both are good though. Sad back story that affects so many people. I hope one day this can be prevented.

I am in love with the classic painted Hollywood movie poster aesthetic, especially horror ones. It's amazing how busy, bright and colourful they were compared to their modern counterparts! So, I've decided to take every artist's nightmare and the story of my life essentially, and turn it into a classic scary flick. Enjoy! I'm sure you all can relate ;P Painted digitally from scratch.

Hi! I love all the artworks you've made, there's a lot of creativity in your ideas and it's a pleasure to see them all! Here's my entry. It's the poster for a light drama movie, about a little girl that got used to living in her dark imaginary world with her teddies out of fear of the real one. Going camping with scouts is what's going to give her the courage to open up to the real world and let the light come in. Scouts and camping has given me so much, I'd never be thankful enough. It bought me closer to nature, to people and even to my true self. As I live in Britany, and I'm half Irish and half Breton, I wanted to include dolmens and menhirs, because they have so much history and mean a lot to my region :) (I have the painting in higher quality but I made it smaller to be able to send it)

OK this is it I'm done now :P This is inspired by the movie posters for 'Loving Vincent', Studio Ghibli films and a bit of Alice in Wonderland. Influenced a bit by the watercolour artist Thomas Schaller. Aiming for a kind of whimsical vibe. I would say I spend most of my time in my imagination than anything else - and trying to paint clouds because they are hard :P Painted with watercolour paint. Please feel free to critique it!

Greetings! Here is my Life as a Movie poster June #prokochallenge. While I explored a number of ideas from my youth, through teen and college years, and early career, I chose to make a poster about my life with family. Fathering three teenage kids, life is always an adventure. So my poster was inspired by a 2014 trip when my wife and I took our kids on a six week driving tour of the western United States and their National Parks. THAT was an adventure! From almost being stuck at the top of mountains at sunset with storms moving in, to having our transmission die as we descended from Devil’s Tower, to endless walks along precarious rock ledges! So I took that idea and made it into a Family Adventure movie! Here, I’ve added to the plot suspense by adding the black helicopter that is chasing the family through the mountains where they are cornered and almost fall to their deaths. I thought I’d leave the text work to the designers, but hope you get a feel for the movie that could be created for this poster. Cheers! P.S. I added some of the process shots as well.

Hi all here is my poster for a romantic comedy “For the love of art” . I have always loved the mermaid stories, especially when they leave their world to seek out new interests. My character falls in love with a painting by Klimt she finds on an old shipwreck. So inspired she takes up painting and stops causing shipwrecks. A tale with a great ending!

Well, I really wasn't feeling the last idea so I went back to the drawing board. Here are some thumbnails of my new idea. What do you think and does anyone have any further suggestions perhaps of colour combinations and such. Which one do people like the best?
