Took longer than expected and my thumb hurts a bit from the twisting. but they seem promising to me, i guess i'll make some even smaller just to play around with the clay

I've bought some plastiline that has no information on whether it is with sulfur or not, but it really has no unpleasant smell to it. Does this mean, that i can expect it to be sulfur-free?

So here it is: the very first sculpture I've made in my life. :-) It was quite a lot of fun. In the beginning I planned to just do the legs, but as they were finished I thought it was kind of weird without a body, so i kept going. It was just when I tried to attach the torso to the legs, that I've noticed the proportions to be off. In the beginning I've built a quick armature out of tinfoil, which helped a lot but also created a few problems: I've put tinfoil into the hip and the raised upper leg and separately in the ribcage and shoulders+arms. This hindered me fixing the missed proportions (therefore the legs became to long and the arms to short) and secondly those parts that where not supported by the armature (i.e. the raised lower leg) kept falling of. As the upper and lower body aren't connected with an armature as well, they fell too fell apart from time to times. These are the reasons why I didn't took the process of creating the head and hands too serious and now this is has become this poor guys visage. :-D Anyway, had a lot of fun whilst doing this and generally speaking I'm quite happy with the result, even though the off-proportions kinda bug me. But I obviously had to leave room for improvement. ;-) Tools: Safety Pin (, Tinfoil) Nevertheless 99% where done with only my hands.
