I know this isn’t exactly what this course is for but I kept going and I’m really happy with the result

Enjoying this style. I love finding the plane changes. I went a little too specific but I at least tried to go generic and I did at the start

I'll be honest. I lost focus frame one and just did the whole arm... I understand the shape of the heads, but I don't fully understand the portions of each...
These were fun. Just good drawing effort. Just did these at 10 min for each, but didn’t hold myself to it religously so they’re more like 10-12. Last one was by far the most frustrating. Had to start over like 3 min in. Pretty happy with the rest. Good luck everyone

Did this one after doing a few of the lessons in Baumans block in course. It must have primed my eyes because I really think I did well on this one

Allright, one of the things I find really difficult is keeping even preassure, applying even value, and not getting carried away. I might even have taken this one too far, but I’m really happy with it still.
Another thing I find really challenging is not settling, as the lesson states, you want flexibility to be able to approach accuracy, but I often just look at a mark, and agree that it is correct and so I forget to check because I don’t see the need, even if its there.

I usually don’t do a lot of purely visual drawing since I really love construction. But this is really fun too

These were 15 min sketches. They got a bit better but I felt really rusty for the first one (left). The last one (right) I was pretty happy with but then I look at Joshua Blacks’ 😂 (didn’t have time to do a full set of five at least but I hope that’s not a problem)

Stephen mentions the scott eatons ecorche app. I can’t find it anywhere on the internet. If anyone has a link of know of a way to get it that’d be great, because I’ve been searching for it for a while with no luck. Thanks, and thank you to stephen and proko for the free lesson
My goals for the next year is to deep five into what type of art I’m passionate about through study of branches of art that catch my intrigue. Thanks Stephen!

Alla prima portrait in oil from a live model. The lighting was a bit flat, and coming slightly from below, but I think I still made the best I could of the conditions.

This was a 15-20 min drawing focusing on me understanding the anatomy a bit better. I lost some information in the shadows however. Im so impatient I find it hard to tje my time with it

Rougher than I wanted, had quite a bit of struggle with proportions.

Remember, the metacarpals and carpals are about as long as the phalanges. Here the palm is just a bit too short. The shape of the bones look really good however! Clear planes and direction

I like to use this one on sketchfab to study. You can rotate it around and if you want to download it, it's just 15$.

Gouache. Im struggling to put the paint down where I want it. Might just be that I need to take it more slowly and carefully. Any painting or drawing misstakes and how I might adress them is welcome!

You could take a look at the models by Andrew Cawrse, good but expensive.

Clint eastwood portrait in charcoal. Very bright lights in the photo, which was fun and fast.

pushed the gesture and it looked so fun I couldn’t help but to expand the drawings a bit. Hope the motion of the oblique is clear!
