My Demon Prince is German, obviously, so he is referred to as the Dämonenprinz but his friends call him Day-Mon. He is just your standard mild mannered royal descended demon squid, with a snake beard, shark mouth, that floats around with his favorite baseball teams cap on all sideways, you know how it is. He loves long floats in the park and is allergic to nuts. He really hates pistachio's which he will break open and throw at girls, just girls. Especially ones who used to be married to some boy in the past; I see you girl, I see you. One time he was in Hawaii and he just went crazy throwing macadamia nuts. Peeps were like "Go home Day-Mon, you drunk!" That's all I got to say bout that.

I tried to keep with a more traditional Prince but with beast and biblical snake references. Lots of traditional Goat influence with the eyes, horns and one foot but I wanted a threatening hand so went with a crab claw . I also wanted the horns to feel like slicked back hair so I kept them close to the head. Pose is based on a picture from prince Charles looking a little smug.

Hi there! A prince does not always enjoy his tasks, sometimes it has to get his hands dirty when condemning some souls. My Demon Prince: caged, ambiguous, delicate blue painful crown.

So I'll be honest, I'm not great at drawing people but I can definitely whip up a creature design. So maybe that was a nice bonus challenge for me while drawing this "Demon Prince" without drawing an actual humanoid prince. I included a little bit of my conceptual work, but I decided to use a horse as the base since a prince charming is usually associated with his noble steed. So I felt a horse would be a perfect option since this was going to be more creature based. There's a quite a bit I can talk about regarding the design but I don't want to speak for too long. Though, all of my references and design choices came from either cultural nobility or mythology. Enjoy!

Helloooo I'm Kenny, I'm 18 from Ecuador, and this is my artwork for The Demon Prince... Well PRINCES, technically. Mama gave birth to conjoined twins and big bro is a few milliseconds older than little bro. Big bro is more developed than little bro so he carries him around like a backpack. Painting was done traditionally with acrylics (cus oils are too expensive lol)

that's a really good illustration. It doesn't look too much like anime though, you should look out for proportions more. What makes something anime is definitely what's on the face. Exaggerating features in a painting may seem very strange because the ridiculous proportions don't usually fit with the realistic feel of a painting. However, there are artists that can do anime-like paintings really well, you should take a look at Stanley Artgerm Lau's work, he does great anime paintings.

That's awesome! You have a really good awareness of perspective and that's a really cool design. Shape design for the fenders could be a little more defined and well realized. Good stuff
