Here are my assignments I did earlier this year. I work on this course when I have time and motivation! So far I have completed these lessons: Visual style part 1 + 2, Structural style part 1 + 2. Thank you Stephen for this awesome course. Your book is also super useful. I can't recommend them enough!

Hey thanks Stan for reviewing my value scale. Here is the sketch pad I used. And yes, it is a kneaded eraser. It's yellow, not green. Just very dirty! ;)

Here's my value scale. I used the suggested pencils (2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B) plus a Mars Lumograph Black 8B for the darker shades.

Here's my first try. I decided to add a zeppelin to fill the sky and practice some more cross-contour.

Where can the reference images be downloaded? It’s very hard to measure and compare from the image in the video.

Here's what I could do. I'm not sure if a "block in" is just to get the proportions right and placement of light and shadows, or if it's also important to get the right values. In the video Stephen pass multiple time over the same areas to get them darker. At this stage is it still a "block in" or is he staring to add details? Maybe I'm overthinking this! Anyway, can't wait to try the structural method! :)
