I think you just go at your own pace. I've spent a few weeks on the gesture portion. I broke down my time like this: For each video - 1 session where I watch first and draw after 1 session for drawing before watching each gesture & compare 1 session where I draw along For the example videos, each session ended up being 3-4 sessions because of how much I was studying the way Stan draws the gestures. For the critique feedback video, I'm watching 20 mins of it at a time, then doing my session of 10 timed 30s drawings & 10 timed 2 min drawings
