Challenging myself to use fewer lines, and also line weight variation to achieve the gesture. For number two, I would really like to be able to describe the engagement of core muscles in this pose. Anyone have good ideas of how to do so in a gesture ? (I started this course I few months ago, got a bit lost in the later stages; had to go outside a bit for inspiration/teaching, and now feel ready to reboot. When it comes to gesture I found Michael Hampton’s explanations, as well as Mike Matessi’s interviews by Proko to be really useful.)

I struggle a bit to find the right proportions and ankles of the plans of the eyes, and I am not sure if I put enough darkness in my shadows 😅 maybe I just have to Measure some more, do any of you guys have some feedback for me, i’m really enjoying the course and the learning a lot😊

Yeah. You're under the artists' curse here. How do you keep the drawings from rubbing on the other page? That bugs me to no end, by the time I finish a sketch book my early drawings are all smudged

Chuck Jones. I don't think it would get any more fun than that

Man I bought some very nice gouache 2 years ago and I've never used it. I have got to get it out, this medium looks amazing.

I'm not sure why but the first and second poses just aren't believable. I'm not feeling the weight into the supporting feet. Image 3 is good and they feel right. Last one is better, but again I just don't feel that weight into her left foot. Hope that helps!

Not perfect, but feeling comfortable enough with the process to move on. Feedback (either +/-) is welcome.

I'm pretty far behind you, so I don't have any real critique. They look pretty good to me. What model pack are you using?

Hi everyone, I am new here. Very excited to start my education on how to draw a portrait. I have practiced drawing some loomis heads, evident via the attachment. I would appreciate any feedback about how I can improve. I generally struggle to get angles correct. Especially in the more extreme head position. Please forgive any silly markings on the heads. Signs of my frustration haha. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hey dude. Good job. I'm just starting this course too and I'm excited. My only advice is draw bigger, and draw more.
