Hello, just finished this recently. I feel pretty unsatisfied with the result and since its a digital drawing feels like I cant replicate the chaotic detail feeling of charcoal that Stan used..My feeling is I'm still too afraid when applying shading. Any feedback will be really helpful and appreciated.

Hello, I'm recently thinking to advance to learn shading but is on a fence regarding this course: Since I'm mainly a digital artist, does the content of this course, it's concepts and techniques applicable to digital media as well?

Looking mainly for the landmarks, and on more muscular people I try and add the anatomy but I don't know anatomy at all. Start with gesture so I can still get a more dynamic pose instead of a stiff one. Takes me a bit to actually see what I'm looking for on the body but I try to make every line with intention instead of just chicken scratching. Really want to control my lines. These took me 20 mins total mainly cause I was lost trying to find the landmarks. any tips would be very helpful.

Hi Jonathan, your line quality is definitely good in this assignment! It definitely takes a while to learn to observe where the landmarks are, keep it up! Regarding the scapula, since the person's arms are raising up, you should stretch them more to the side, as the muscles follow the arm movement. Try searching "scapula when arm is raising" on google for reference.

Hello everyone! I've recently jump back to re-practice gestures after learning perspective and basic shapes. Being usually a silent learner and rarely interact with the forum, but recently I started to realize that critiques are really important to progress faster. Are there parts that I can improve from? first 2 images : 1 min gesture 3rd & 4th image : 2 min gesture 5th and 6th image : 5 min gesture 7th image : 10 min gesture Also at which point does a person can provide critique as well? I'm curious because there's this saying that giving critique also helps you learn, but most of the time we don't even know whether we are already reliable and good enough with our own works to provide critique..
