Hey, thanks for the Livestream, it was a lot of fun and very informative :) I painted along but didn’t get as far. It is my first oil painting since I was a child/early teenager (and even then it was mostly acrylic, but some oil as well, then unfortunately there was a very long break with nearly no painting at all), so probably I should have started with something simpler to get familiar with the medium. I struggled quite a bit not to mud the colors, oftentimes I wanted to make a transition and got too much dark into the lighter areas or vice versa. And I think I got too much paint on the canvas too soon, which you mentioned in the stream, could be a problem, which it was for me I guess, so I just tried to make the best out of it. But next time I’ll keep that in mind. Any tipps on how to proceed? I let it dry over night, but it is still quite wet (even in the areas where the paint is thinner). Should I let it dry more/completely before continuing, or can I go on as is? I’ll be happy for any advice :)
