Wild Warrior with trusty beetle Shield, slaying figs with his sword tail mastery! Tried to stylize the lemur rather than drawing an exact copy of the image, immensely challenging! Apologies for my camera phone being my only option, no scanner!

I wanted to attempt some bravery by using pens and blue pencil to study certain things like textures and hands since I can't really rub them out! I've been using Peter hans books and some Bridgman (cart before the horse πŸ˜‚) as studies for these sheets. Anybody have any advice for stronger confidence in just line drawing? Especially with things like applying things like shine on metal!

You did a wonderful job on the nose and lips! The nose seems a little flat on the tip and I think it should poke out more contrast wise to the nostrils adjacent from it but despite that maybe small kink you're doing a smashing job. Your figures are good as well, it might help you to use less cross contours since it can make it feel like you're relying on structure too much and it's making them seem a bit stiff, if you have a perfect mix of your ability to silhoutte a shape and use clean and effective cross contours I think you'll see some good progress!

I love your linework! It makes everything very clean and that helps a lot when you want to improve at art :) According to the last two panels, I think you need to put in a little more focus in perspective, that's definitelly going to be helpful. Keep up the good work! :)

yeah perspective without photoshop and grid lines is a real struggle for me from memory so I plan to build that up. The first course I plan to do will be a perspective course to so you read my mind ^^ tyty

Trust me my dude! The more you study the more it ramps up, I potentially may have ADHD given my mannerisms towards how I study and how erratic my life can actually be so Im actually getting that checked haha. It helps to create a good philosophy for yourself as to why you love art, thats mostly what fuels me, other than that though as someone who has had learning difficulties growing up its hard to rationalize in your head that studying is gonna make you better but you'll be hard pressed to commit yourself to the fundamentals and not get anything out of it so keep pressing!!

It all looks so well done super solid πŸ’― The hands, and especially the skulls!! That exploded one and the turnaround are just so awesome. Is that from a MDJ tutorial? Super Great stuff, it’s inspiring to see so much!!

Essentially the pages in the book are mostly Loomis studies, some of Peter Hans Dynamic Bible and then the odd youtube study here and there from Proko and MDJ! I find Proko especially good for breaking down the more complex forms of things like the Pelvis!

Been studying fundamentals slowly but surely! I used to be an artist who only knew how to paint through observation but never touched fundamental stuff!

You're showing brilliant range on your figures and your lines are looking good! Some legs look a little big and stiff on certain figures but it all reads really well and it appears you are doing well by the Hampton book!
