(2) This was a fun and challenging section of the course. Would appreciate constructive feedback but if there's something I got right, I'd really like to know both the positive and negative. Looking forward to the rest of the course, thanks!

Little late to listening to this, but a million thank yous for this episode. I was driving home from work thinking about this question and found this episode while scrolling down. You just don't know how much it means to this aspiring artist how invaluable your podcast is to me for episodes like this. In the episode you mentioned storytelling at the end. I would love a whole episode dedicated to storytelling. I looked through the episode and didn't see one dedicated to this topic, please let me know if I missed it. Thanks guys

Gesture drawing is difficult! I keep finding myself being perhaps too concerned with the forms and contour and have to drag myself back to the movement of the pose. Afterwards I can look at them and feel that something’s off, but I can’t point my finger at how to improve them. Any help here would be very much appreciated. I’ll try and squeeze in some quick-sketches as I progress trough the course (for a second time. Seriously, even if life gets hectic, don’t snooze like I did for a year. A lot of info is pretty foggy as I get back to it.), and hopefully things will fall in place and I can make more informed decisions.

I love the design of these gesture poses. I'm no professional but I think the motion is convincing and you've captured them nicely. Sorry I can't offer advice how to improve these as I think in their own right I like the way you've captured motion through your line work...

Here's my submission for the balance assignment :) I used Proko references and 1 from Artstation for all of them except drawing #2 which I drew from imagination instead. I realised a bit too late I'd drawn #2 too close to the edge the paper to include the tip of his board. The red line on the models and my drawings in the side-by-side comparison is where I thought the balance would be based on the center of mass stan was talking about. For drawing #5 I tried to simplify more. Any and all criticism is welcome.

This was amazing! I have the wondrium free trial through draftsmen and went ahead downloading Dr Eddie's course. I'm only 2 eps in but can already tell his course is going to help a tonne! Thank you guys for bringing Eddie in for an interview, very much appreciated!

I don't have anything to offer on this topic just wanted to say really looking forward to the expressivity and abstraction episode. Thank you for dedicating an episode about cartooning. Would be great if you could include an interview in one of your future episodes with someone who specialises in cartooning to give some instruction advice or simply insight. But if not, all good. Thanks guys

What do you think are pros and cons to using watercolours/gouache, oils, acrylics, maybe even inks, when doing plein air paintings? There's no right or wrong and it's probably personal preference but I'm just curious as a beginner
