I call him Sir Mopsalot. Still trying to figure out digital stuff but this was super fun!
Cool character, if you’re new to digital drawing and painting I recommend prioritizing just learning the drawing and painting stuff rather than the digital stuff like layers and all those other tools.

Final character sketch done with colored pencils and white gel pen on newsprint, quick ideation sketches done on sketch paper with ballpoint pen. I can see that the anatomy specifically the hands are very off I hope that doesn’t take away from the characters idea. Any feedback appreciated.
He lurks in the darkest parts of the void an ancient evil banished waiting to be unleashed upon our world, theory has it that he already has conquered it by invading humanities thoughts with whispers of evil. With every action obeying those whispers he grows stronger and stronger every uncleaned floor, every littered can, and every plastic bag loosens his bonds to the void, until one day he has the strength to break free.
happy drawing

I made a crime fighting, cyborg mop man! When everyone's favourite janitor met a tragic end during a sanitation accident, scientist were able to fuse his mind with his favourite mop. When the world needed him most, when there was too much cleaning left undone, the Mediator of Purification (MoP for short) was born!
Whether it's cleaning up crime from your neighbourhood streets, or that spill in isle 6, he will be there!

Quick sketches 3 min. Any advice and critique would be very appreciated!!! The two gestures that overlapped was a happy accident!
Did some following along with the video, tried to avoid copying exactly what was shown, but tried to work on following previous lesson instructions. I still don't have enough comfort to push exaggeration as I feel I'm just able to get at the end of the 2 min with something satisfying.
These are really good! The bottom left one of the second group of them looks a little like he’s flipping someone off 😂

This is how I usually grip my pencil, I feel it works better for me than the overhand grip. Maybe I’m just giving up too easily but I never hand a problem with using it and it work for the most part. However I would like some criticism on what I can do to improve it.
If you’re are doing really rendered drawing I suggest holding it more loosely and further back on the pencil when shading that will make sure that you don’t hurt the paper by making an indent in it.

Looking for critique. Thank you!
I think these are a little stiff and could be more exaggerated. It’s very hard to not focus on the contour which I feel like you might be doing a little and just try to show the motion. Something that might help you do that is just try to see where the main motions are and where to exaggerate before you start drawing it.

2022/8/24. Good evening everybody. Here's my final version of "The Golden Samurai", a concept art for a trading card game. Last week I posted the solo version but I worked on it again to fix a couple of things and add some details here and there. I also made the card frame design. You can see both versions below. If someone would share his/her opinion about it I'd would very happy. Thanks a lot and good night!
This is really good and cool. I like how you made the samurais in the background less colorful and grayer and made the middle one really pop out in its color and contrast it makes my eyes easily go to that one.

hello, here are some of my attempts at drawing eyes and noses. critiques welcome!
Good job they look very good. The advice I’d give would be to push your darks a little more that might help them look 3d.

Hi Court, I recently bought a wacom tablet, the one without screen, and found it difficult to use. Do you have any suggestions painting using such tablet?
I have never used one of those but it might be helpful to just practice drawing simple shapes and lines to try and improve your control.

You could have included tracing

A mix of 30 second and 2 minute gestures. I would really appreciate some critique on how what I could do better with these, what sort of points I'm missing or need to focus on more, etc. Is there anything I should practice on more before moving into the bean section? Any feedback and or recommended resources would be very much appreciated, thank you.
These look good I like how you have done the hands. I don’t have much feedback but I think you sometimes do unnecessary strokes on them, which could be a result of trying to draw it faster rather than just trying to draw more thoughtfully and purposely.
