Hi there, I was just wondering since I havent been on fb for quite some time. Did all the Proko groups stop on there? Are they now placed somewhere in this proko community or class?

Hey Guys. This is a full graphite portrait. I feel like I managed to get the likeness pretty well in the block in (after several attempts!) but then lost it a bit in the final render. The strange thing was that after doing a much more complete drawing, but before going to full render, I traced the photo and overlayed it on my drawing and everything matched up almost perfectly, so the differences were, at that point, extremely subtle. I unfortunately didn't take a picture of that part. Any thoughts on how and why I went off track would be really appreciated. I was using Tombow Mono 100 Pencils (4H - 2B) on Canson Mi Tientes paper if anyone is interested. This was a birthday present for a friend.

I was just watching the abstract lesson and I see that the notes are for the rough sketch. Looks like the title has to be changed and possibly the lesson notes

I'm confused. Do I have to focus image and character than likeness?

I think he wants experimenting with headshapes then likeness

I've tried experimenting with more head shapes, per suggested, so I thought. But I did find one that looked like a hershey's kiss with charcoal that I think I may develeop into a rough. Critiques welcome

I've done some perspective and can see the horizon line is where the sky meets the ground. Looking at the table all of the lines from the table should point to one vanishing point on the horizon line to the left and the other should point to a vanishing point to the far right way off the drawing. I might enlarge the character sitting in the front and overlap his knee in front of the tabe just a bit.

Hi, I have no experience with Gundam robots, but I think with any type of drawing starting out with the basics fundamentals of drawing can be a good start.

Good morning, I have a question about the centerline I drew for Tom Hanks it seems that it was off so I redrew it. But then when the left centerline it didnt seem right in the perspective. Am I on the right track with the centerline on the right? If so the nose is off.

In this video you placed her eyes and nose closer together did you decide to do that so that it would make room for a larger smile? Just wondering

Good morning, I've posted this in probably another place but thought I post it as an assignment here. The abstract is saved the right way but when it loads it still loads upside down. If you can't critique thats fine. I'm just starting to use this assignment critique option. I think its pretty cool. Now I've got to find the community it goes too :)

Here's my 2nd try at abstraction. I could see some of the things that were off like the lips, eyes and general shape of the head. The process I used to correct or try to find them was drawing the abstraction dark and then turning it over on my light table to try an fix. I think I did ok, critiques welcome. please.

Hi @Angiev Currently, it is not built in to the platform to rotate images. I messed around with some images and uploaded to my account. I'm on a Mac. If I rotate the image in the quick preview, it does not save it, even though it appears rotated in my file folder. It must be opened in a image program program, rotated, and saved. If the problem persists, please contact me.

Congratulations to the winners! This ended up being one of my favorite challenges so far. We definitely need to do this prompt again once we launch to the public. Every submission was really good and choosing winners was difficult. Here they are: 1st - @Tarek Khazendar 2nd - @Steffen Anzivino 3rd - @fyll Community Choice - @Joe Watson Team Choice - @Mathieu Dufour Science Award - @Side Shave Laura Gingrich
