Here's my submission for this challenge.
I didn't quite copy the reference and then pasted them into my drawing but instead I molded my choices when drawing based on the provided images, like giving the torso full arms, and giving him a robotic arm based on the cables from one of the reference images or making the horses appear like demonic looking creatures. This is my first drawing posted in here, I hope you guys like it :)

Just wondering what's your favorite non-instructional art book? What are your thoughts about contemporary art, to me, it should not even be called as art, It doesn't express or tell anything per se and most of those "art pieces" take as long as 1 minute to do...

But if I'm not mistaken, you were trying to draw a dog from imagination, and not a kangaroo.

I would say just look out for proportions, since those lips are a bit off and bigger than normal. Then a bit more of contrast between shadows, Dorian Iten has a video that talks about how to shade properly.
