With this method, how do you make the first one a “square”? Since the side lengths will be different, how do you draw what would a square straight on, but in perspective... this question is hard to articulate...

Can you explain how cone of vision works and how does it affect the drawings? When studying from reality we always see things in the same cone of vision, so it is hard for me to study to draw something for example in curvilinear perspective, as we don't see things in that way in reality.
