LESSON NOTES
Join me for a LIVE painting session! I'll be doing an oil painting of Skelly, combining the pose from a 3D render with the lighting from a photo of a skull!

Wow thank you for the shout out Stan I have to admit I wasn't expecting it! For a watercolour teacher could I please suggest Thomas Schaller? He was mentioned in the Proko video about Storytelling With Light, Dynamic Lighting and he has a wonderful style I'd like to learn from.
Thank you for answering so many questions, and holding this session. It was great to watch you work, and I'm loving Proko 2.0 so far! Looking forward to learning more from all of the proko people!
Stan, Kris, hello!
I got a question, I took a 5 month break because of burnout and I feel really rusty, any tips on how to get back on track?
Hey stan, skelly's looking good. I often find that when I draw I end up spending most of the time fixing mistakes which makes drawing less enjoyable, how do you approach your work so that you enjoy the entire process?
My art teacher said he used tricks instead of understanding the true fundamentals. He could draw a tree, but not "that" tree
But if I'm not mistaken, you were trying to draw a dog from imagination, and not a kangaroo.
By the way, how are your dogs? You have never paint them that I know, and they are so cute.
