A few weeks ago at the Plein Air Convention, I met up with James Gurney, creator of Dinotopia! We roamed around in search of things to paint, causing trouble and getting kicked out by security. We decide to make it even harder and use ultra limited palettes. I painted using orange and violet (plus black and white). Oh, the struggle to paint green trees without green paint…
