How to Draw Genitals

April 1, 201618 Comments

I’ve had a lot of requests to do a tutorial on drawing genitals. Like, FOUR people have asked! As far as I’m concerned, that’s four too many. But you know me… I like to keep my viewers happy. So I’ve made a drawing lesson that covers all you need to know when drawing the genitals. I hope you enjoy!

After finishing the lesson, it’s time for you to get some practice in. I’ve included a couple reference images to help you out. Use them for inspiration when drawing male and female genitals. You can download the reference images here.

From a retired teacher (44 years)…you have the gifts for which all great teachers lust: talent, experience, claity, love of art, and importantly, an outrageosly wonderful sense of humor. Thank you and God bless you and your work.

  5. Jacques says:

Sooo many different ways you could have taken this joke. You picked exactly the right one.

  6. Shirley says:

This was fantastic! Thanks so much for a great April Fool’s Video!

  7. Julian says:

Very cute Stan. It looked like you were just drawing a load of junk from Minecraft with all that blocky pixelation.

  8. Adrian says:

The frame in sec 0:59 is not blured, if you pause you can see clear! no need to thank me … 🙂
    nice vid!

I like the reference images. It reminds me of an English class where we were asked to write our own recipe in English. I made one for cock flavoured waffles :p

Sadly some people didn’t get the joke. 🙁

  10. D.Mutchler says:

Well, thanks a lot. My wife is now pestering me, wondering why “some dude” is drawing pictures of “your [my] junk” on his website. She’s talking divorce.

  11. Silver says:

Oh god. Lol when I saw this posted I was like: what the furry murr…? But then I saw the final image and made a combination between a chortle, loud laugh and wheezing.

God I live being borne in April! 😀

  12. Joseph Czajka says:

    What’s a genital?

  13. Emily says:

Can there be an actual video on how to draw these, though? They’re just another part of the body and it’s just as important to be able to accurately and skillfully draw them.

  14. Lee says:

    Well… This is somewhat disappointing.

I mean, it was funny. But all the same, if you could either provide some assistance here, or refer to a decent resource, it would be much appreciated.

It would actually be really, really great to not have to rely on virus-laden porn sites to get references on genetalia.

  15. Jacob K says:

You seriously haven’t replied to any of the people asking for a legitimate lesson on this, there are pretty much no good lessons on this particular subject and this was kind of my last hope the best advice I’ve gotten was to try and look for porn to draw genitalia, because apparently no one can be mature for ten minutes to teach people how to better represent the groin region of the human body and the anatomy around it. I have been doing figure drawing for about a year since I saw your video on it’s importance but the groin area and genitalia has proven to be something I have had a difficult time depicting well mainly because of the lack of serious information on doing it, I know that many people, including myself would be legitimately interested in seeing this particular area of the human body tackled, if you don’t believe me look in the YouTube comments the second highest comment after the one pinned is asking for a legitimate lesson with about 900 people agreeing to want the same. Thank you if you actually do this and take it seriously next time.

I’m years late, but I hope we can have an actual video on drawing genitals. Why not?

  17. CJ says:

Actually, I thought the video “Drawing Yoni” was about drawing genitals. In case no one has pointed this out to you, Yoni is the Sanskrit word for the female genitalia. So imagine my surprise when the “Drawing Yoni” lesson portrayed such a hyper-masculine figure. Beautiful drawing, of course, but gave me a chuckle.

This video was funny. But a real one would be very helpful. I remember first year figure drawing classes at school where everyone drew handless, footless, genitalia-less figures. You could save future art classes from this hilarious fate.
